Ebola virus disease outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been declared ended as of 1 December 2025, following the completion of two consecutive incubation periods without new confirmed cases. WHO issued the alert 263 days ago. The outbreak, which began in September 2025, affected multiple health areas in Bulape Health Zone, Kasai Province.
